BOKA Powell architects are in the midst of developing the already impressive Knoll Trail Plaza in Dallas. The completed project is expected to be comprised of a 4-story, 5.75-acre, 120,000 square-foot office building that will have various ‘green’ design elements.

It is believed that Sundown Energy has already preleased 40 percent of the building, which should be open to the public in November.

The project is being developed by Cawley Partners, an office building developer that has several other developments in the pipeline, including Windhaven Place One and Legacy Center. The company has developed a positive reputation in the Dallas area for previous work, where they were involved with One Hanover Park and Tollway Plaza.

Mac Haik Realty has announced that Energy Tower IV, a 17-story tower with over 450,000 square feet of space, is to be created. The company believes that the project will be finished by the end of 2014. It has found it necessary to create yet another new building, as its previous three energy towers are all completely leased out.

Day, Brown, Rice, E.E Reed, and Morris Architects have all been involved in the previous buildings and their services are to be retained for the sake of continuity. Mac Haik Realty will offer property management and project management services, as they bid to expand in the Houston area. Brandon Poynter, Senior Vice President, and Bryant have been given the task of handling the leasing of the new building, in what promises to be another exciting real estate development.

That’s all the news we have from Texas in terms of new real estate development but rest assured, there are a flood of stories coming through as the state cements its place as one of the most important real estate locations in the country, if not the world.
